ZORAN KOSTADINOVIC, studied violin at the Academy of Music in Novi Sad in the class
of Prof. Dejan Mihailovia. He attended master class in Portogruar, Italy, with Prof.
Pavel Vernikhov. One of the founders of the Youth Philharmonic “Borislav Pašaan”
and its first concert-master. He was also the concert-master with Vojvodina Youth
Philharmonic, where he perforned as a soloist and made recordings for Novi Sad Radio
and TV. As violin professor he taught at music schools “Petar Konjovic” (1982/83)
and “Kosta Manojlovia” (1983-1987). Since 1988 he has been a member of the Orchestra
of the Opera and Ballet at the National Theatre in Belgrade. In 1990 he performed
with the “Elisabethen Consort” early music ensemble, under the leadership of Robert
Spencer. He also performed with the ensembles Baroque Consort, Ars Nova, and Studio
for Early Music. With “Classic” orchestra he recorded two CDs. Occasionally, he cooperates
with “Sinfonietta” string orchestra. He participated in the preparation of the curriculum
for the instruction of string instruments for early music department in elementary
and middle music schools. He likes sport and fast cars (cabriolet, if possible) and
before a concert he has to wash his hands compulsively, otherwise he becomes nervous
and aggressive. At all other times he is the complete opposite
